Cockroaches were all over the place and it was dirty and dusty. Broken window! Internet and TV were not working on a daily basis. Management requested to shift 2 because of other bookings!

Premises, hotel and rooms. Located right in the middle of the Thamel area. Restaurants bars and shops around. The area is quite lively but the hotel is quiet.
The room is large, beautifully decorated with a large balcony, the bed is comfortable.
Cleaning staff are nice and always have a smile on their faces 🙂
Restaurant: breakfast is enough to choose from with wonderful waiting staff (unfortunately don't know their names) who are helpful and very pleasant in their behavior which makes the breakfast taste even better. Thank you so much for the gift surprise for me from you! 👍

I recently stayed at Fresco Retreat a very charming bed and breakfast and found it to be a peaceful retreat. Everything was impeccably organized, from check-in to local tips. This B&B offers a delightful blend of comfort, charm, and relaxation. Highly recommended for those seeking a tranquil getaway with a personal touch.
A very easy location. Room was not large, but big enough for 2 people and luggage,vand quite comfortable. Appreciated the Filtered water available to fill up your bottles. There were a number of nice sitting areas including garden and balcony. Owners kindly looked after our bags while we went off trekking. Would recommend Fresco Retreat for sure.
Simple Nepali guest house type accommodation. Family and staff very nice and helpful. Room large simple and kept very clean. Area of Kathmandu was ideal for me near many NGO offices. Plenty of good restaurants. Not ideal for tourist sites but good for people who know Kathmandu and have work there.
