disappointed , very poor professional staff, no welcome greetings, no service available for any kind of request like asking for a few ice cubes ( oh sorry we had a very high demand of ice (in Norway above polar circle) and can’t give you more than 3 cubes per glass). This was feedback from the staff manager.
Equipment in rooms is poor, no reading lights, empty minibar, doors hardly opening, closing. No side dished, everything is at minimum, except price for the room. Food is poor and buffet like à cantine. Very expensive for average food. No property management, no cleaning. All achtreys full of cigarettes next morning at breakfast time. I wonder how long such a poor service level can survive. Except the nice and beautiful view all is at very poor level.

The house was beautifully decorated, had many blankets, everything for basic cooking and a huge fridge.
We were even able to see polar lights right outside of the window/in the front yard.
Perfect location not too far away from all of the hikes that we were planning on doing and the airport.

I had a very comfortable night’s stay here and the room was spotless. The staff were lovely and really went over and above to make my stay perfect. I was leaving for an early flight in the morning (before breakfast was normally served) but the hotel manager made me a sandwich and boiled egg to take with me and poured me a coffee. I really felt taken care of!
How could I put any other number than 10? This is a very comfortable and fully equiped big house, in a perfect, quite location, with a view on the Lofotens' mountains. Could not be better! We felt at home!
