I was travelling from a holiday with my family to a work conference the next day and needed a stay close to Amsterdam for one night. Fantastic rural location but only 10 minutes from airport and 35 minutes from Amsterdam Centre. The rooms are not just spacious, they are huge. Judith, the owner, is very friendly, multi-lingual, flexible and helpful. Considering the hotel prices in Amsterdam during big events, this is a viable solution, which we will consider. It definitely exceeded our expectations.

We felt very comfortable at Heerehuys Lisse. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you might need. Nicole is very friendly and accommodating host; she personally welcomed us, showed us around the house, and gave us great tips. The location is also excellent—within 10 to 30 minutes by car, you can visit beautiful beaches and amazing places like Haarlem, Leiden, and Scheveningen. The flat was so pretty. It was close to the beach (around 10 min by foot), free parking spot, the equipment/ furnishing was more than enough, the host was super friendly, so totally awesome.

The house is very clean and well equipped with almost everything needed. The garden and conservatory are wonderful but it was a little bit too cold for us to enjoy them at the end of October! We loved the location by the lake and surrounded by canals which gives a real feeling of being in the countryside but it's close enough to Leiden to take the train to Amsterdam for the day and not far from Den Haag, Haarlem etc.
