Calm and quiet, in the heart of the town. Very easy access to all facilities in the neighborhood including restaurants and shops. The apartment is huge, clean and modern and all amenities are available. Perfect for a longer term stay. The host is very friendly and helpful. A warm welcome for us (bottle of champagne) and for our dog!

Great reception by the host, very hospital. Bedroom Upstairs, seperate airy Bathroom (shower) and Toliet on the ground floor. For people who are not mobile enough, could deliver a challenge to get up the stairs, as for all historic buildings, steep. But no issues for us. Coffee in the room and Breakfast served, which we took outside in the garden, overlooking the canal, as the weather was good.

elegant and relaxed restaurant by the water in well-cared for village in Friesland. well put together menu using good fresh ingredients and the service is attentive without being fussy.
an overnight stay is also to be recommended - rooms are a little on the small side but they are spotlessly clean and the beds are comfortable and I slept like I was at home :).
