It’s a wonderful historic house in the village of Grootschermer with all amenities. Location is perfect for car and especially bike trips throughout Northen Holland. It’s secluded and peaceful but within 5-minute drive to De Rijp where there is a super market and good bus connection to Amsterdam Central (2x per hour). There are a number of good restaurants ( in Grootschermer, Noordeinde and De Rijp) and lots of sightseeing attractions.
Marianne ang Gijs are the best hosts! Wonderful warm people that make you feel at home.

Great place to stay. Friendly staff, great rooms and views of the golf course and wonderful food at the restaurant as well. We really enjoyed our stay.
For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
Top host, very kind family, with a lot of useful information, and willingness to help to feel and experience the real Dutch atmosphere! The owner even give us sightseeing information translated into slovene. Good, ample breakfast!
Super peaceful, quiet, location, to relax and with a lot of animals to pet, not just for kids :)
Rich breakfast, helpful owner, the opportunity to see close lama and participate in their feeding. Location suitable for visiting cheese markets in Alkmaar.
"The breakfast was exceptional, with all the necessary fixings needed to start your day. The highlight of the meal was the freshly squeezed orange juice. Jan was kind enough to provide us with fresh juice to take on the go, since we didn't have time to sit down for breakfast on the day of our checkout. The best part of this property is its location - a frame house surrounded by open fields."
Extraordinary location with many animals kids (and adults) can interact with: alpacas, friendly dogs, goats, cats, pigs etc.
The host is also very attentive, going above and beyond to insure your comfort, while the room is compact, but with everything you need for a few nights stay.
Location is close to a lot of cool towns worthy of exploration: Volendam, Edam, etc.
Great location, really friendly, helpful hosts. We loved the location and being able to see all of the animals.
