What a gem! We have stayed at many unique hotels and bnbs around the world, but this is by far our favorite. The apartment was immaculately clean. There was so much space for our family, and everyone was very comfortable. All the amenities and comforts of home; we were thankful to make use of the extensive kitchen. The location was also excellent. We explored the nearby town of Gorinchem, which is an absolute gem. We also took day trips to Kinderdijke, Gouda, and Amsterdam. Amsterdam was a little far, but we only drove part way and parked in a p&r that had metro access straight into the city center. Highly recommend this listing for a perfect getaway in The Netherlands! After all of the exploring we did, the kids said their favorite part was staying at the windmill!

The Owners are lovely people. This place is just awesome. We lived with chickens, cats ans few dogs who visited us. A quiet place which can be your base for visiting some towns like Gorinchem, Gouda, Woudrichem and the amazing place of Kinderdijk. I do recommend

Marlies and her husband were very welcoming and provided us with a very spacious (2 ppl & 1 mid-sized dog) room for 2 nights. The bathroom was super clean (I got the impression as if we were the first to use it) and the garden and garden view were amazing. When we arrived I was bit worried about the noises from the highway in the background. But the room is targeted backwards, and was incredibly quiet. Only frogs, cows and horses were chatting. The breakfast, which Marlies created vegetarian on our wish, was very delicious and sweetly arranged (Also Kasvio restaurant - an exquisit vegan restaurant in Utrecht - complemented our experience here). Highly recommended for anyone who wants to stay near Utrecht or is passing by (as we did) and prefers a quiet, green and natural gem as accommodation. Thank you, for making the start of our journey so pleasant already! :)
