Good central location, somewhere to park bikes off the road round the back, quiet, kitchen was well stocked with crockery, cutlery and equipment. We were left some coffee pods, tea bags and a supply of washing machine pods, dishwasher pods and cloths.
The owner was very quick to respond to our needs - creating a private garden area - separated from the building work being carried out.

Breakfast was lovely, a nice selection of things, coffee and orange juice smashing. Michelin restaurant booking was made last minute and they kindly fitted us in; the experience was divine, a lovely treat for my husband’s birthday. Staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble

The building and the atmosphere it creates are fantastic. The staff were very friendly and pleasant. The location close to the market and town hall are ideal in Gouda.
Loved that there was parking, and the location was ideal for short walks to city center. The first floor unit was great for our senior (80+) parents, who kept saying how this Canal House was so wonderful.
Ideal location, a stones throw away from the Old Town Hall but very quiet. Spacious appartments, clean and comfortable. Lots of character and nicely furnished 3 bedroom appartment. Nice kitchen/dining area with lots of space. Great bathroom. Good beds and nice beddings, easy to park on the premises. Very quick to respond to questions on the app or phone. We spent a great weekend in Gouda!
The host Inge was very good, professional, friendly and accomodating.
The accommodation was absolutely spotless, well appointed and in a great location close to everything, that was in a very pretty residential environment and quiet. Inge arranged for someone to meet us so that we could leave our suitcases and head off to explore until our accommodation was ready, this was much appreciated.
The location was ideal: quiet but within 5 minutes walk of the town centre.
The accommodation was spacious and the sofa bed very comfortable (I'm told). We particularly liked the kitchen and the very airy living area.
Gouda is a beautiful, beautiful city ideal for a short break or long weekend, and Betty Blue is the perfect place to spend it. Erwin and Jolanda have created an amazing place to stay. The recommendations for places to visit, to eat and to drink were well thought out and they should be commended for their choices (we loved Casa Chow, go there!). The room provided everything we needed, breakfast was generous, thoughtful and tasty; The bed was comfortable and the shower was great too. I may have discovered a new favourite city break location.
perfect location, lovely well organised guest house in the lovely town of Gouda, room was perfect and spotless, nice little gifts and they gave me free drinks which was very kind, all in all perfect stay, highly recommended!!
Jos & Maarlen were great host! The location is perfect, from Gouda you can move easily by train to Utrecht, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, etc.
The place is also great, very clean, very quiet and you can park pretty close from the house.
