The house was charming and Celine and Ronald were there for everything we needed. They left us multiple commodities and games. The beds were really comfortable, and the kitchen is full equipped. I have recently been trying to make an effort to stay in small locally run businesses instead of big cooperate entities. My wonderful few days stay in this very small family run hotel was 100% perfect. Absolutely quiet and peaceful in this beautiful little community garden. I woke up very early on Saturday am to a full symphony of birds! What a very special treat. Easter Sunday I had the whole place to myself to catch up on journaling in the sunny courtyard with all the birds and all the comings and goings into and out of the multitude of individual hand painted birdhouses in the garden. I just could not have asked for a better weekend then staying at this simple, super clean wonderful little country getaway. There is just nothing better then having a hand picked breakfast and really good capuchino made by a human not a push button machine and sharing a real conversation with a local family who run this little retreat and actually care about your stay. Simply perfect! Thank you Hotel Hof van's Gravenmoer for my special solo weekend! Uber is readily available here for all your trips to explore nearby towns when you have had enough peace and quiet and birds!
