What a gem. A converted kindergarten, it is comfortable, clean and fresh. The garden room was spacious and provided comfortable chairs to relax as well as a small dining area. The shared breakfast area was really lovely with a fridge for guests and access to whatever was needed if you wanted to eat in. Breakfast each day was different and delicious. However the absolute best part was the friendly, welcoming reception of the hosts who made us feel at home, even providing us with a welcome cup of tea on our arrival. A little out from the town centre it is in a quiet area backing onto the dunes. The town centre with the award winning Maritime museum and Fork Kajkduin and the beautiful coastline are easily accessible. We will have to return as there was much we did not see.

Much bigger than expected. 5 minutes walk to beautiful dunes. 5 minutes walk to shopping centre. 5-10 minutes drive to unbelievable beaches, Texel transport, fortress and lighthouse, navy museum Den Helder, 1h to Amsterdam. Very quiet place, surprisingly. ! Excelent beds. Another name for relax:)

The stay was amazing and the staff was super helpful. They borrowed us table tennis rockets so that we could enjoy a very fun game. Also, the nets for chilling outside were amazing. The showers and toilets were clean, common areas were clean as well. I have nothing to complain about:)
