The host served us hot soup when we arrived, which was amazing. Invited us to a campfire on second night. Lovely with the kids. But wait, that's nothing. We broke our car 30 minutes away from the BnB, with two kids, in the middle of nowhere. How many host would have kindly pick us at 21:00 ? They offered and did, without hesitating a second. Let us stayed extra hours the day after as we picked a replacement car from a garage. Best host in town, in the Netherlands, and probably on Earth ! <3

The B&B was beautiful, had all the comforts you could ask for and very clean. The hosts were really nice people too and after having told them about what was missing, they immediately made sure to get some of these items (like herbs to cook with, olive oil and a cloth to clean the kitchen with).
The location was great for us too. It was nice and quiet, close to some areas you could walk your dog in and only a 15-20 min drive to the city of Groningen.

What a great place to stay, host were friendly, great location, no noisy traffic, weather was windy and raining but cabin inside warm, cosy and quiet, comfortable beds, breakfast was excellent.

Really cozy location, nice walking path, tasty food, dog friendly - and most importantly; the staff saved us by getting us a taxi to the ferry, as we were unaware that there where no busses on weekends! Lesson learned, and we’re really grateful they where so prompt at giving us a solution to an otherwise disaster
