I got receive like I came home to my parents after a long trip! :) It was late, when I arrived at B&B Huize Cossee, I had not gotten any dinner, and asked if they knew a restaurant, that would be open. It was too late. Everything was closed. The host said, that I shouln't worry, and started cooking for me! And no extra charges! It was like a gift send from heaven, especially when you are tired and hungry :) Thank you very much! I can highy recommend B&B Huize Cossee with all my gratitude. This gesture of humanity and generosity I will never forget :)

A beautifully presented and decorated annex. It has a large, well equipped shower room and a small equally equipped kitchen area. There is secure parking in front of the property. Miranda, our host, was lovely and very helpful providing a fresh, delicious breakfast.
City Hotel de Jonge is situated in the centre of Assen's shopping district, a 30-minute drive from Groningen. There is a restaurant with a spacious terrace. Guests benefit from free WiFi.

Very nice and clean hotel, good size room with plenty space. Good facilities and comfortable bed. Friendly and helpful staff at reception. Breakfast was included in my stay which was very nice and plentiful. Hotel in a good location, close to pubs and restaurants.
For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
Lovely small ruraal community. The route planner thought we were there about 150m too soon. We were late and the hostess managed this without problems and with a great reception. The room is being prepared for an update, but suited fine. More ventilation (and buf-screens) might be an early priority.
We had requested a really early breakfast and this was managed just fine.
Super lovely, and quiet environment.
A super location for those looking for hiking or biking, space and a great ruraal environment. We would certainly come back.
