So many places to sit outdoors and relax, hammocks, gazebos, rocking chairs, common room with couches and map books. Excellent, friendly service. The hostel is beautifully set up, rooms are spacious and there is a great garden with a platform looking out over the lake and volcano where you can have your (delicious) breakfast. You can rent scooters for 15 dollars per day and because of it's central location, you're everywhere in no time. But the highlight of the hostel is definitely the hostess, who is incredibly sweet and caring! In the end, we even stayed twice as long as initially planned :)

Maria doesn't really speak english, but she definitely trys hard to make you feel comfortable! Also, the food is really good, you have to try the filete del pescado & banano con leche! We did not meet too many other backpackers in the 4 nights we stayed but nevertheless worth a visit.
