I loved this place so much I had to come back and stay again. I stayed 2 places in Leon before this and this was by far my favourite in the whole of Central America so far. It literally had everything you could want. A huge shelf of books, a small gym with weights and equipment on the terrace, a fully equipped kitchen, pool table and plenty of chill space and a swimming pool. The free breakfast everyday is great with three different options available. Someone was always cleaning. The best part of the stay was the staff though. They were so friendly, helpful and kind. The hotel was fabulous! It really is an escape from the hustle and bustle of downtown Leon. It’s very relaxing and it is more like a museum to be honest. It’s a stunning hotel just to wander around in. The rooms were large and very comfortable with great airco. The staff were always very friendly, polite and helpful. I’d definitely stay here again 😃 Great restaurant too!

Here, you come as a guest and feel like family! The house is huge, the neighborhood is very nice, kids out and playing until late, and it is a 20 minute walk to the main square of Leon. (There's also a c$6 bus that stops outside the front door, and taxis are about c$50). You get a look into parts of the town that are not the center. Breakfast was excellent and varied, and the Wi-Fi clocked in at 50Mbps so easily fast enough for Zoom calls and the like. If you have an oversized vehicle, there is a secured lot around the corner (in front of the basketball court) that charges c$30/day. The on-site garage will handle regular vehicles.

We loved our stay at Wabi Sabi. The staff were all super friendly and we felt at home right away - they also have a cat and a kitten who were adorable (we miss them already). We found it to be more like a guest house than a hostel, it’s nice and quiet and a good breakfast is provided each morning - prepared whenever you want. The common areas are comfortable and there’s a pool which was great for afternoon dips in the León heat. The kitchen is really well equipped, it felt like cooking at home and there’s water provided for free. The hostel is located in a quieter part of town but still less than 10 minutes to walk to the centre - we liked this as it meant it wasn’t too noisy at night. We would really recommend staying here.
