Abel and Lucy are amazing hosts with extremely beautiful place directly by the lake with sunset view. Around the rooms there is big garden with many trees and plants, and this is literally an artist house with even a small gallery of Abels painitings! Lucy is an artist in the kitchen, we tried Fish (fried and a caldo), repochetas (tortillas with beans, veggies and Cheese - super nice!), pasta and chicken and we loved each of those food. Place is very clean also. One of the best places I've been to in Nicaragua so far.

Very clean. Staff was excellent! Food and coffee in the restaurant was great. The grounds were immaculate, a beautiful foreground for the absolutely stunning view of the volcano available from each and every room.

It’s a bit aside from the port city Moyogalpa, so it’s very calm and almost no cars and people here, but still easy to reach by foot from the Centre (15 min walk). It has breakfast included and it’s home cooked food by the family. My room was very spacious, with 1 double and 1 single bed. They had outlets outside and inside, so i could work online here. Ask for both WiFi passwords! The host family was very nice and always tried to help, like when I needed a dentist they found a number. They don’t speak English (as most locals here) but with my broken Spanish and google translate we always understood each other. You can also ask them about the laundry option. Thanks for hosting me!

On site there are cows, horses, talking parrots and a beautiful (non barking dog)😁 It truly is a magical place…I’ve been to Moyogalpa 4 times now and this is by far my favourite. Everything was fantastic. Had the best time eating and talking with the family. Relaxing spot, close to lake, easy walk to town, they rent motos right on the property. Very welcoming family. Food was real good too!
