We had an excellent experience at Arena Beach Resort, thanks to Ms. Hazel at the reception. She truly made our anniversary and honeymoon special, even though we stayed for just one night in the Maldives. We were warmly welcomed with a beautiful bed design, and during dinner, we were surprised with a cake and a lovely ‘Happy Honeymoon’ greeting. These thoughtful touches made our stay unforgettable.
However, there are a few areas for improvement. Before our arrival, we had clearly expressed our interest in visiting a luxury resort, but unfortunately, we weren’t informed that this would no longer be possible after 10 am. Since we arrived just after 10 am, there were no rooms available yet. While waiting, a gentleman at the reception kept pushing the hotel excursions and seemed to divert our questions about room availability. We ended up leaving the hotel to explore and fortunately found a private tour that accommodated us, even though it was almost 11 am.
Additionally, there were no lifeguards on the beach, so guests who aren’t confident swimmers should be cautious.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay on Maafushi Island, and we’re grateful to Ms. Hazel for her exceptional hospitality. If you’re booking at Arena Beach Resort, be sure to ask for Ms. Hazel, for a wonderful experience."

From arrival on boat at marina the staff were very lovely and accommodating and took your bags ahead to the hotel for you, very friendly and always happy to help.
The view from my room was spectacular and it was very clean and modern. The AC worked very well too.
The location is slightly out of the main area but a 5 minute walk from supermarkets and excursion booths. Restaurants are all well within a 10 minute walk with some right beside the hotel.

1. The location is good, near the Bikini beach and restaurants, also there is a supermarket.
2. Very clean room. Everything seems to be new, well equipped. You can find a kettle, a bottle of water, tea and coffee.

Great hotel on Maafushi! The room was comfortable and very clean, good location right next to bikini beach. The staff were all really friendly and helpful, you can book excursions via the hotel. We did the fishing, private resort and whale shark trip and would recommend! Would also recommend having a spa treatment in the hotel spa!
I booked this as it was the cheapest place I could find in Maafushi. Absolutely loved it. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The budget double room was nice - comfy bed, clean, nice bathroom. Location was good, breakfast was good. But the staff were the best bit 💕
I enjoyed my 2 nights stayed here. The room was very clean and spacious. The staffs were very helpful. The breakfast served buffet. The property also provide the cheaper excursion for water activities and you can get extra discount when you stayed here. The location just nice to see sunrise 😍
