This villa is truly one of the most charming and authentic accommodations we've experienced in our extensive travels. Despite the rainy and cloudy weather during our visit, the atmosphere was absolutely breathtaking, and we came to appreciate the slow dance of the clouds—a calming experience in itself.
The host was incredibly responsive and kind, personally guiding us up to the house, as the road can be quite tricky. Once you're at the villa, you're somewhat isolated, so make sure to bring plenty of food, drinks, and anything else you may need. Trust me, the peace and beauty are well worth the preparation.

This was our second stay at Kalin Hotel, and once again, it exceeded all our expectations. Our previous visit was as a couple, but this time, we returned with our baby, Kalina, to share with her the hotel we’ve come to love. She went above and beyond to ensure every one of our needs was met, making us feel right at home.
A delightful bonus was her adorable daughter, Ilina, who brought so much joy and energy to our stay. She’s so clever, fun, and was a joy to have around!

This is a very stylish hotel and restaurant, located by the main valley road (but it was never too loud) between Mavrovo and Debar. The hosts are very helpful and friendly. Our room was comfortable, clean and very well equipped. The restaurant downstair was one of the best in Mavrovo region, serving traditional Macedonian food (excellent grill and vegetarian dishes) . Jovan Bogorski monastery is just around the corner and Duf waterfalls are not far from there. You can by some local products such as honey in the restaurant. And the hosts were exceptional, organizing on the spot my daughters small birthday party. Definitely recommended!

A perfect stay. Quiet and quaint location for a peaceful getaway. We stayed here to attend the Galichnik wedding festival. The trek to and from Galichnik each day was tough but amazing value for money. Perfect host, super communicative who went out of her way to drive us to our next stay at the neighbouring town to save a 90 minute walk in the sun!

Great host, great location. The view is amazing. The house is accessed via a steep dirt road. We parked our car at the host's house and he took us up the hill in his jeep.
I really liked the location and the whole ambient, the decoration in the house, the view from the house. The heating was so good, it kept the rooms warm at night and in the morning. I would go there again.

The perfect getaway from the concrete jungle. Even though the last 4 km may be a bit of challenging, it`s all worth it once you feel the peace and tranquility.
