There was no heater in the room, so it was so cold that I could barely sleep. The next day, I moved to a room with a stove, but since it was used to chop firewood, it was turned off when I fell asleep, so I woke up in the early morning because it was cold. The electricity is not turned on from 10 PM to 6:30 AM. Hot water doesn't come out well. Breakfast is very poor. It is better to eat at a local restaurant. Much better and cheaper

Comfy bed, lovely accommodation, hot showers, constant power unless a power cut (most of these types of places often don’t have full time power like this lodge). Air con/heating too (it can get chilly)

Our hosts were fantastic. We were travelling on our own from Tana, and Fahamaro booked us a Cotisse to Andasibe and back - he was very helpful. Also arranged a night walk excursion for us at a local park. The diner and breakfast were excellent too. Would definitely recommend.
