The host Jean Charles and his mother are absolutely lovely. They have a villa with two units outside around the pool and garden. We stayed in a comfortable 2-bedroom, one bathroom unit. The garden, various cute courtyards and breakfast room oozes charm. The breakfasts were delicious and the pool was clean and wonderful!

We had a fantastic stay in Riad Dar Etto, the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms are lovely, spacious and clean. The pool is beautiful and a great place to relax. The Riad is about 15 minutes outside of essaouira by car and when we were there the owners ordered us taxis to get in and out of the town which cost 50 Dirhams each way which is very good value.
Within Essaouira’s ramparts, a 5-minute walk from the beach, this environmentally-friendly Riad blends Arabic, Berber and Jewish influences in its design.

The property is amazing. Full of character and it is a calm oasis from the city. The beds are very comfortable, and the rooms very large with lots of character such as having books in the room. The shower gets nice and hot but the best thing about the place is the staff. Hamza is a pleasure to deal with and so hospitable, as are all the staff including the ladies serving breakfast. I had a wonderful time in Essaouira and it’s absolutely down to the wonderful people in this city. Thank you all. I will return.

Great quiet location just outside of essouaira. The amenities are amazing, from champagne glasses to citrus press. A perfect barbecue and great pool with sun until 6 in February. After that there is a sundeck to watch the sunset.
Everything about it was just great. Kaoutar, Omar, Anwar, Fatima and Karim made us feel at home. They are the soul of Villa Amaryllis :)
The location is great, good distance to be away from the city to disconnect and not too far to go visit everyday.
