Good location, next to a nice pond, town is small so everything is walking distance. Simple but comfortable room. I had a room with a private shower. Hot water, in terms of toiletries just hand soap, also in the shower. Shared kitchen with fridges, microwave, water kettles and water provided, possible to cook. The little terrace was nice, with a view on pond. Great location to use as a base for exploring the area, especially if you have a car.

Our stay at Mežvēji was truly great! The property is based in a great location near the sea, the wooden houses are super comfortable and neat with air conditioning available:) also, shared spaces are very clean with everything necessary for the stay. Such a wonderful stay. Cottage windows are facing the forest, and behind the fence we found blueberries and lingonberries.
A lot of little details were though of, you can feel that the hosts want you to enjoy your time here, very nice people. We also met kitty who is very friendly if you approach him.

The location was good and it was very easy to find it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The kitchen had everything one need's to cook. The shower and toilet room were clean and nice. The rooms were clean and bed comfortable. It was very quiet during the night. The shop was just 450 m. The price for all this was very reasonable. The courtyard and surroundings of the castle were exceptional. I will definitely come back here.
Gorgeous location and friendly, accommodating staff! I was allowed into my room before my official check-in and personally shown around the facilities. If you're headed to northern Kurzeme, I can't imagine a better option.
