WOW!!! No words to describe this place! Brand new rooms with everything new in it (done by loving hands). Good AC. Nice smell. The house is standing across the lake and has a nice garden where you can have a “safari” experience for free. You’re surrounded by nature. This family owned place is full of love and care. There is no room here to list all the wonderful things we received at this place! It captured our hearts! Excellent communication. The owner arranged the best safari driver and very good transfer to our next destination. Showed us area around, took care of every step of our time being there. We were treated with such genuine love and care that we wanted to cry! This house provides not just amazing place to sleep but a real resort, that treats you as a king. I honestly doubt there is anything else like this in Sri Lanka. I wish we could spend more time there. Don’t hesitate to book if you wish to be in good trustworthy hands.

From the moment I entered the property, this place exceeded my expectations. Gamunu and his family run it. We were welcomed by his daughter with a fresh king coconut drink and she quickly helped us check in. Gamunu was checking on us throughout the stay to make sure we were comfortable and for anything we wanted. This room has everything you need in this type of property and has a large balcony with amazing views of Debarawewa Lake. The location is ideal for exploring the area and visiting nearby attractions. Debarawewa lake is a great place to walk or drive around, and Tissa Lake is nearby. Our schedule doesn't allow us to try out the food at this property, but we'll come back again.

The host was incredible and truly went above and beyond, he organised everything for us for the safari tour and even drove us to the bus stop. We had a free coconut on check in and a juice on checkout. The room was lovely nd big and clean with great air conditioning. An amazing experience, especially for the price!

We loved everything ! Mithila is the best host we ever get ! Rooms are clean with all the needed equipment and AC. But the most important is that she organized us the best safari ! The host is amazing! Such a nice lady! She took care of everything, booked the safari and taxi, even prepared us a delicious breakfast to go (as the safari trip started really early). The view from our balcony was splendid! The infinite rice fields with some palm trees… just great! Also at night you can hear the frogs singing in the distance which is so calming and makes you fall asleep in a minute. The lady prepared us very delicious meals, especially the egg hoppers and mango tasted devine!
