the location is unbelievably nice! right at a paradise beach! no people, just endless white sand. the owners don’t know a lot of English so communication was a little difficult sometimes but they are sooooo nice! the breakfast was the best in Sri Lanka so far. room is big and airy

Very nice breakfasts (on quality tableware) and tasty meals prepared by advance order. Located on a beautiful quiet beach with a couple of beach restaurants nearby. Cows sauntered down to the beach every evening, very rural feeling!

Excellent villa, very hospitality owner and his pgilipine wife (sorry I didn't remember her name). Great breakfast and also a dinner. Excellent and big pool for adult and nice fish spa. House and garden was very clean and maintained. Air Conditioner and wifi worked well. Villa also has a generator for electricity... Everything is perfect and very nice. Sandy beach is 20-30 m away from the property.

Sethsiri is a hidden gem tucked away in a coconut plantation just a stones throw from picturesque Mawella Beach. ‘Team Sethsiri’ gave us a warm welcome on arrival and made every day feel a little special from that moment onward. I think previous negative reviews are from a time long gone by and should be ignored. It’s an authentic colonial property that had everything we needed and if it didn’t, the staff were always attentive enough to find it. Nothing was too much trouble. Myself, my wife and 3 children felt blessed to have not only discovered it but to have met so many wonderful people who are making this place something special. The staff are available to provide meals, cooking lessons, transport, helpful tips and are friendly beyond measure. The grounds are beautiful, the pool area is lovely and Mawella Beach is 2 minutes walk from the doorstep. CJ & Paul have bags of hospitality experience and slowly but surely, they are building a team that will and venue that will only get better and better.
