The Tara Waterfall has a nice view to the tea fields and up to the Waterfall, really stunning in the middle of nowhere. If you want silence and avoid from too much hectic and tourism (like in Ella) this is the right spot! Their service was very kind, too :-)

This was the most memorable place in our 3 week Sri Lanka trip. It is a very unique place (crossing through a stream to get there, and steep steps about the place), and as such it wouldn't suit everyone, but it doesn't try to. But you will find peace, and the sense of immersion in a jungle and welcome isolation. The construction of the rooms is amazing and inventive, everything is simple but done with incredible taste, and although things are basic, everything works and was spotlessly clean (which is no mean feat in such a cut-off place). Karina the owner was an inspiring person to talk to; what she has achieved here is amazing.

The property was exceptional with all the facilities provided. The food was great. And we should definitely comment on the location surrounded by mountains. Our room was directly facing the handapan falls. It was such a stunning view with the weather. The road to this location was sooo beautiful. We admired every bit of our stay at Tara waterfall. I would recommend this place to anyone.
The location is very quiet & calm. I was really enjoyed the garden & mountain view also. And beautiful surrounding with balcony. The staff is very helpful & polite. The location and it's unrivalled 360 degree panoramic views amidst such verdant backdrop and quiet location one of my best ever in 50 + years of solo cycle touring. The host treated me as a VIP and served superb variable food. The excellent room and expansive balcony afforded the views I referred to above..
