Unique accommodation. perfectly placed to explore Udawalawe. The accommodation organised a safari for us which was fantastic - highly recommended. The safari tent style accommodation is very unique. Each tent has it's own veranda with chairs overlooking the pool. The pool itself was refreshing.

- We very much enjoyed the safari, which was organised by our hosts. We did a full-day safari and enjoyed the tour very much. Because it was low season we had a driver and a guide who explained very well about the animals. Our impression was that both - driver and guide - very much enjoyed the tour themselves, drove very carefully and respectful of the animals in the national park, and were also amazed by the animals we have seen.
After the safari in Udawalawe, we also did a half-day safari in Yala. It was special to us as we were lucky enough to see a leopard in Yala. But the driver and guide in Yala were only focused on finding a leopard and did not pay much attention to other animals. If you have only time to do one safari, I would recommend the Udawalawe national park.

The structure is nice and comfortable, the owner is super nice and the breakfast is very good. We went on safari with a driver trusted by the owner and it was unforgettable.
