This place exceeded our expectations! We were surrounded by beautiful nature and could relax after hiking the first stage of the Pekoe Trail. The pool was amazing and the food was one of the best in our holiday. The staff welcomed us warmly and prepared a bonfire for us. We highly recommend staying in Tranquilisle!

After 2 weeks it was probably the most beautiful accommodation on our trip through Sri Lanka. The location is simply breathtaking, away from the hustle and bustle of Kandy, the view is priceless and the staff and the manager always tried to accommodate our needs. The breakfast was very rich and more than sufficient, we also enjoyed the excellent food in the evening.

What a wonderful place. You immediately feel welcome. The owner is a super warm person who makes it easy to feel at home. She shares exciting knowledge about the art of Sri Lankan cuisine and makes every stay great. The hotel itself is beautifully located - surrounded by nature. In addition, the food is fabulous - she always conjured up something new for us and we were always happy to eat there and also to learn about her cooking skills.
