We had a great experience at Icy Falls. It is located in a quite village, close to Horton Plains National Park, so it is the ideal hotel you could stay if you want to visit the park. Staff was very helpful, the room was huge, clean, confortable and it also has a balcony with an amazing view. We also had dinner at the hotel and the food was delicious. One of our holiday highlights. We stayed in the upper apartment “Silver Tips” which was very modern and clean. And the view was amazing, even from the shower! Super friendly staff and amazing food: For dinner we got tasty rice and curry and for breakfast delicious egg-hoppers while overviewing the tea fields and mountaintops around. This accommodation is very close on the Pekoe Trail that we walked, we stayed only one night but we would have loved to stay longer… The area offers a lot of great hikes and magical tranquility far from touristy zones. They serve their own tea from the plantation which has organic quality, all grown naturally.
