Wonderful place! The lady from the accomodation went above and beyond to ensure I had a good time, taking me to Polonnaruwa and to see the elephants The food she made was very tasty. She made sure I was safe at all times, dropping me at the bus to ensure I would not get lost when going to my next destination. Even sent me texts to ask whether I arrived safely. Such a wonderful place!! As a solo traveller, I very much liked it here

The owner was very nice to me. He offered me free drining water and arranged it himself. Two times I got lost, I couldn't find my way to the guest house, since it's a bit further inside from the main road. He was very kind to come and pick me with his motorcycle. The room and toilet was newly built and clean. AC was working perfectly fine, although during night I didn't need it. The bed was comfortable and huge. He also provided me with cutleries when I needed. There's public transport available to Pollonaruwa 10 minutes walking distance from the place. Getting a Tuktuk might be a bit challenging.

We loved our stay at il Frangipane. The rooms are very comfortable and the pool was great. The breakfasts are tasty and the staff are very friendly and helpful, they arranged a safari for us at minneriya national park which was an absolute highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka. Our safari guide Thilina was unbeatable. I would highly recommend staying here!

We absolutely loved our stay at Palitha Homestay. The hosts were very friendly, they were extremely helpful with great recommendations for things to do in the area and organised drivers/tuk tuks for us whenever we needed them. The location was superb. Very close to the main road. Also very close to the Minneriya reservoir and the canal, bordering a lovely paddy field. spacious, comfortable and clean. Extremely good value for the money. friendly and supportive staff (owners). We got only breakfast from them, which was very good and good price as well. Ample parking space and space to hang around.
