Enjoyed the pool. Was on the 3rd floor so had a lovely balcony and view over the rice field. The owners organized a safari for me which i enjoyed immensely. They also got me a bicycle to use for exploring the town and the lake areas. Seeing so many diverse birds roosting on the trees surrounding the lake was a bird lover’s paradise. A short distance from the hotel and on the lakes edge hundreds of fruit bats hang chattering from the trees. They are the size of seagulls. They are a must to watch. I was also provided with a kettle for boiling water for tea and for drinking water. I really appreciated the use of it as i do not buy water bottled in plastic. Location within walking distance of restaurants and the lake.

Nice location, very close to the restaurants. Peaceful with a nice clean pool, poolbeds and towels. After a long day nice to have a relaxing swim. Rooms are spacious and clean with good AC. Breakfast also very good with nice fruits and papaya juice. On the first day they packed a breakfast box for us to take to safari which was really nice. Staff is very polite and kind. They can organize a safari tour..Day option safari was very good, with a driver that really tried to show us everything, and we saw leopard and even a sloth bear.

Mahanama, Sahani and Vibu made our stay perfect. We felt part of their family They provided superb Sri Lankan food overlooking picturesque rice paddies and their huge variety of tropical fruit trees. Mahanama organised safaris with knowledgeable guides to Yala and Bundala. They also showed us the sites of Tissa....temples, lakes, sunset with bats!

This place was amazing. Nina’s give us all the good advices! He recommend and organized a half day safari. It was amazing. We saw all the animals in the park. After the safari he prepared lunch for us and showed us how to cook an eggplant curry in a simple way. It was delicious and cheap as well! He helped us to get to the bus station and explained in a really good way how to get to our next destination. Thanks you for your help and your kindness He is a great host! I will come back again

The courtyard and garden were a marvel in and of themselves. We sat out by the rice fields and watched firefies illuminate the trees above us. It was also very clean and very well maintained.
