The morning herbal soup is refreshing, and the dhal curry is the tasties I've ever had. Mostly, I enjoyed the view of the mountains and the tea gardens with the birds chirping in the morning. No room has AC, but you can always open the balconies doors and let the cold, fresh breeze circulate in. Temperature at night reaches 15 deg C.

The 1st view it self was so breath taking ,with the cold breeze view of the waterfall right in front of me took me to another world ,felt so energized, The villa was so tidy and very clean (washroom linen perfect), with all the modern amenities.This is a self catered villa but there are many dining places around,i would recommend the mlesna tea castle minutes away from the villa with superb western and sri lankan food,staff is very friendly i would highly recommend this for a perfect getaway!!!

The White House Bungalow is a very clean place with an extremely nice owner. Hot water in the spacious bathroom and each of our 2 rooms had a terrace. We noticed an avocado tree in a nearby garden, a few minutes later we got a bag full of avocados... We left very early in the morning to climb Adam's Peak, we got our take-away breakfast at 5 a.m. on New Years day! What a good service.

Spotlessly clean, the owners clearly take a great pride in their guesthouse. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast. We left a purse in the room which they kept safe for us until we returned there to collect it. Although it was at the top of our (meagre) budget, I have no reservation in giving them a 10 rating.
