The loft was beyond expectations. A simple, rustic but comfortable and lovely place. The view from the lodge and the surroundings was beautiful. No AC, but who needs AC when there's a cool breeze that can literally blow you away all day long? Rooms and bathrooms were very clean. The staff is amazing. Lovely food. Awesome location. Rivendell Twisted Tree offered the perfect hideaway from Colombo. Being based in the middle of beautiful nature with a river passing, a nice pond and surrounded by palm trees, cows and peacock the release of stress starts immediately. To top this we got a massage, which was smoothly arranged for us. Absolutely relaxing and exactly what was needed for my parents after a long flight - definitely highly recommend to book it directly with your stay. Room, pool and food were excellent as well.

The Hotel is a coconut estate , with two cottages, each cottage has two rooms on the upper floor. the ground floor is the pantry and dinning area. has a small but comfortable pool. The property itself is about 6km from the main road. Its so Isolated the aptly named the hideout. no vehical noices you only hear the birds. The caretaker and his wife were very friendly and made breakfast just way we liked. I would defintly go for another unforgettable stay.
