Was a last minute book but the owner was very helpful and friendly. We arrived late as our Tuk Tuk journey was delayed along the way but he waited for us to arrive and recommended a good restaurant up the road to eat! Room was clean & our stay was a good one! The owner even offered parking under cover as it was raining!

Our stay at this accommodation in Sri Lanka was one of the best we’ve had during our trip. What truly impressed us was how well the property caters to the needs of European travelers, something that isn’t always common in the country. Everything—from the shower to the bed, pillows, and toiletries—met the highest standards. My stay at this guest house was fantastic! The beach is only a short stroll away, and the serene surroundings filled with the sounds of birds made for an incredibly soothing getaway. The rooms provided everything I needed, were comfortable and well-kept. I also like that they had cycles available so I could go around the region with ease. I had a great yoga lesson on-site, and that really renewed me. All in all, a fantastic location, calm surroundings, and well thought-out amenities made my stay very remarkable. I heartily suggest it to anyone searching for a tranquil beach getaway.

Sugi is a very nice person, he made me feel comfortable and took care from the first moment. He comunicated with me in the phone, to know when I'm arriving to peek me up from the train. Nice minimal room with personal shower and toilet, and a ventilater. I arrived late with the train, and almoat everything was closed, so Sugi took me with he's scooter to find a place to eat. Next day Sugi and he's family made me a lunch, traditional rice and curry, very tasty. Nice place and real family experience, spanding some time with them, the kids, his wife and grandmother, they all were very nice to me :)

The facilities were clean and safe, the hot water worked well, and although there were some mosquitos and gnats at night, our bed had a huge mosquito net and we slept comfortably and well both nights. It is within walking distance to local restaurants, and about 5-10 min walking from the main bus stand. The view is very nice across the water, and it is a nice calm environment despite it being right next to a road. They seemingly have unlimited amounts of food! We were treated extremely well by the housekeeping/grounds keeping staff/family. They are incredibly kind and friendly. They cooked us an incredible meal one night, all fresh, and allowed my partner who is a chef, to step into the kitchen and learn Sri Lankan cooking one on one. We were treated to fresh lime juice and coconut juice, as well as many cups of tea and coffee (served in a French press). The room is clean, though the lighting is a bit dark, it goes along with how the house is an old colonial/Dutch style home so it wasn't a big deal. Wifi worked well. Towels were thick and crisp.
