An unforgettable experience! A great place to stay in Anuradhapura Very calm & quiet place with a beautiful eye soothing view of a lush paddy field as far as the eye can see. The rooms were clean and nicely designed. Very nice place to relax. Convenient to all sacred places at Anuradhapura. The food is pretty good & even though it was vegi and egg, had a number of verities. The staff is extremely friendly & helpful. Will come back for sure. Highly recommend!

It was amazing stay at gimanhala cottage. the guest cottage is in very good location and people around are very nice and helpfull we stayed there 1 night and we liked a lot its perfect place to stay for family and for solo as well .was warm welcome by the harshani with sweet lime and the family is very friendly and sweet always asked if everything is alright and harshani so caring explain all about sri lanka and anuradhapura activities, honestly says today we been in srilanka almost 1.5 months and still we are traveling but we are still missing cottage . because the atmosphere around is awesome. Near areas small restaurants the meals were also so responsible and tasty. People are so nice, friendly and helpful. We heartily thanks to gimanhala (harshani) and family for everything. We stayed for two nights and it was a fantastic time. The breakfast and dinner were super delicious and the staff is so friendly and helpful. The also organised us a safari trip to wilpattu and a very nice transfer to negombo. The hotel has a very nice pool, the place is so lovely with a very green and beautiful environment.

The sweetest family ever. Very involved, interested and helpful. Nice people you can level with. The tent was of good quality with a nice bed and avaliable electricity. The bathroom is a little walk through the garden, full of herbs and fruits the family will love to tell you about. Just watch out for the chicken... ;)
