The view was incredible!! There are dogs that stay with you (they never go inside though, well trained), and protect your porch. The staff especially Uditha was wonderful. They were more than happy to arrange any type of tour we wanted and when all we wanted was to go hiking from the glamping, he arranged for us to have a free guide just so we didn't get lost. If you are driving, the road up is rough!! But Uditha arranged for us to park below at someone's house and get driven up the road by another driver which was perfect for us. The location is remote.

Very nice guesthouse to stay in Ohiya. It's located close to Horton Plains National Park.Transport to the park can be arranged by the guesthouse. Large rooms with bathrooms and common garden. The staff is veeeeery friendly and if you need to solve any issue, it is solved quickly. Very friendly boss, always ready to help. The food served in the guesthouse is amazing, one of the best we tried in Sri Lanka.If you order the dinner be prepared for huge portions! Perfect place to stay near Horton Plains!!

A beautiful option up on the hills and super close to the Horton Plain National Park as well as the Ohiya train station, that took me to Ella afterwards. If you are looking to a cure property in the middle of the forest with a breathtaking view, you should choose Icy Falls. Staff is super friendly and welcoming, I felt so connected to nature while staying there and I would recommend at least two nights stay to have time for the national park hike as well as the cycling track. Highly recommend and I will be back for sure for some more adventure.

Highly recommend this place! The location is great, only couple hundred meters from the railway station and half an hour drive to the Horton Plains. The hosts are super super friendly and helpful, truly making us feel at home. Dinner is wonderful. Breakfast can be packed for taking away. Room is clean and comfy. Really want to stay longer.

A truly magical place, we had the most amazing stay. A unique small boutique hotel up in the mountains with stunning views, wonderful staff and delicious food. The manager, Eranda is so sincere and knowledgeable about the flora and fauna. He took us on a walk to the waterfall in the grounds and we had a very informative talk about nature. Such a lovely man. I can't recommend Capoe House enough, it's the nicest place we have ever stayed.

We ended up paying a bit extra to upgrade our room. Large comfortable bed and pillows. Good spacious bathroom and shower with hot water. Use of a sitting area adjacent the room. We had a great Sri Lankan dinner with lots of different dishes as well. Good breakfast though spicy.
