The place was very modern/ had a good aesthetic and was very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They arranged and paid for tuktuks to/from the train station. The view was spectacular from our room as well as the breakfast area. Quick walk to main town area and tea fields which you can go for a wander in. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything. The room was lovely and had great views. The staff went above and beyond - they’re so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic, but the best part was definitely the on-site cooking class. It was so much fun and so yummy. It’s a bit outside of Haputale but a 300 rupee Tuk Tuk is super easy, and it’s walkable to the monastery down the street which is a much see little attraction. A+ all around!

This is most certainly a unique place to stay. The views are breathtakingly, there is water running close by that simply calms you down, the roof is fantastically designed, as well as the architecture of the entire place. Ester was nice and hot, bed was comfortable, food was delicious and abundant.

The Capoe House is the most magical hotel experience I’ve ever had, the house and rooms are magnificent and so well decorated and we were hosted by Eranda, the manager and his team who made us feel like royalty! Eranda is an expert naturalist and made is discover the wonders of the nature surrounding us. Getting to the property in Eranda’s jeep was also an unforgettable experience! Just wonderful! This was the best accommodation in Sri Lanka we had. I really regret that we could stay only for one night. The sunrise was simply unbelievable. A view of the tea fields, peacocks flying around - Like in a fairy tale. In addition, the hosts took care of delicious food! In the evening there was a barbecue and a bonfire. We met wonderful people, because probably only such people decide to stay in such a place. I will definitely return people here for my next trip to Sri Lanka.
