Nimal and his family were fantastic hosts and made us feel very comfortable from the start..The room was great and had everything we needed.as well as access to their kitchen/living area. Their house is centrally located in Dikwella with Dikwella beach just across the road and Hiriketiya beach only a short walk away. I would highly recommend their house to anyone that is looking for a relaxing place to stay.

Great peaceful location right on the stunning beach, with terrific service from the team of eager young guys always ready to assist. The pool is excellent and kept really clean - quite a feat given its proximity to the beach. The food is very good and the team will go the extra mile by setting you a dinner table directly overlooking the beach. There was even good hot water in the bathroom basin - missing in a few places we’ve stayed in in Sri Lanka! Overall an amazing spot for a few days wind down after touring. Thanks to all for such a warm friendly welcome!

The one of the most comfortable place i visited on. I think the all the credits goes by to the staf because they are so pleasant and kindly. I think you all can vist and look how they are treate for their customers. I'm fully enjoyed my trip at la polhena.

We had a wonderful stay at the Nook as part of our Honeymoon trip to Sri Lanka. We loved the very welcoming staff, the relaxing and tranquil atmosphere and the location near so many amazing beaches.
I loved everything about the Thalalla ocean view. All three rooms with air conditioning, spotlessly clean, decorated with good taste, a comfortable king sized bed with netting to keep the mosquitos away, large bathroom with a great shower and toilet with bidet, a neat and smart kitchen & pure TV connection. Best view from roof-terrace & Delicious authentic Sri Lanka breakfast with ocean view. Good WiFi during my whole period of 3days stay.
