Definitely one of the best stay at Sri Lanka! Saman and his family are very welcoming hosts, the property is beautiful — you stay in the middle of the jungle with a fascinating panoramic view. Don’t hesitate to order a Sri Lankan breakfast — it’s delicious! Also I would like to mention the exciting jungle tour we had with Saman and his friends. Saman organizes unique tours — you start at one entrance and exit from another one, so you don’t go one way twice. During the tour he tells you a lot of interesting things about the nature and animals around you. Even though 14 km through the jungle can be challenging, it’s an exciting experience! An extremely tasty and varied breakfast. They always prepared what we asked for, as well as dinner :) We enjoyed the complimentary cocktail we received on our arrival, which was still waiting for us after the jungle tour. Very delicious food and perfect service from the owners Janith. A wonderful place a paradise on earth that we hope to see again soon. Janith continued to advise and help us throughout our trip even after we left and we are grateful for that. I recommend everyone to go hiking because it is not always easy but not to be missed.

The family offers the following: - The cool Son brings you cold beer, helps and organises cheap local transport and is an amazing guide who helps you spot rainforest life (and get good photos of it), plus make sure you make it home in one piece. - The sweet Mom cooks some of the best food we had in Sri Lanka. Asking for the spicy option is highly recommended. - The kind Dad takes care of the place and kills any giant spider that may enter your room with a broomstick. Prices are reasonable and upfront in a remote paradise.

Really magical place. The owners are unbelievably cute and prepared us amazing dinner and breakfast and we’re really really welcoming. The view of the room and the sitting area was stunning. It was hard to leave as they really make everything to make you feel at home. Absolutely recommendable. Booking shows the property on the map. On the point on the main road there is a little way down in the forest and that’s where the rainforest view guesthouse is. So if you arrive at night and you can’t find it straight away - just call the number in the profile and they come pick you up.

A serene space in the heart of the jungle, surrounded by trees & peaceful scenery. You have to cross 2 streams to get to the property, making it a very magical experience. The host was very attentive, going above & beyond for us during our stay. He also took us on a hike in the area, which was one of the best hikes we’ve done. It gives you a true glimpse into rural Sri Lankan life, a highlight of our trip. We also went on a tour of Sinharaja, organised by the host, which was also amazing. We couldn’t recommend this space more.

We were a family with two children, we took a family suite, it was very pampering. A perfect place to connect with the green in Sri Lanka, we were three nights and in my opinion that's the minimum to come to a place like this, we didn't do anything other than enjoy what the place allows, an escape with natural water, a river with pleasant water where we swam and got a massage from nature. Once we went for a morning walk of about 3 km in each direction to see a large waterfall. In my opinion, a must visit place. We received excellent service and treatment, every day they prepared food for us, morning, noon and evening. For sure we will come back again.
