Lovely place in idyllic setting. Staff were so kind and accommodating. Breakfast and evening meal were both delicious. Swimming pool was very inviting and we saw monkeys whilst in the garden.

The property was set in a picturesque landscape overlooking the Indian Ocean! The views from both the rooftop pool and our room were stunning. We would really recommend the room with panoramic views, it was so nice. The staff were so lovely and went above and beyond for us. It was my friend’s birthday and the staff were kind enough to provide her with a small cake and a bed decoration, which really made her day. The food at the restaurant was also delicious, couldn’t fault it at all. Would definitely recommend a stay.

Lara’s place is a perfect place for a beach getaway and we felt really good and welcomed here. The owners were super nice, we got a huge breakfast every morning with freshly squeezed juices, enjoyed on a terrace with sea view. The rooms are cozy, they have both a fan and AC, bathroom has free toiletries and we got free water refills.
They helped us a lot on our last day with a late check-out; we could leave our bags while we went to the beach and they even let us shower when coming back. Such sweethearts.

The service was exceptional. Sumi and the team went above and beyond to accomdate us. We really enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again when returning to Unawatuna. The hotel is absolutely stunning. The room is decorated with impeccable taste, it’s spotless, spacious, beautiful, and has everything you need and more. I also love the location — it couldn’t be better, right in the heart of Unawatuna, yet it feels completely secluded thanks to the jungle area with plenty of monkeys and a lake, giving you a true sense of disconnect.
I really appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the beach towels, hats, and beach bags they provide. They really pay attention to every little detail. I would absolutely stay here again without any hesitation, and I will if I return to Unawatuna. Out of all the places we saw in the area, this was by far the best one, hands down.
