The position of the place is perfect to discover the island. The person that handles the property is amazing, struggling a little bit with the English but he will definitely try to help you with your questions. The food is amazing as well and the restaurant is on the river, perfect for enjoying a nice breakfast!

We love the hammocks overlooking the river, quiet location but close to everything. Staff are the best. They are really helpful and friendly. You don't want to leave. Highly recommended!

The property is a very basic but right on the bank of the Mekong River, in a small fishing village. No shops or ATMs. Our hut on stilts had a small balcony with a spectacular view of the river, a spacious bedroom with a comfy bed and mosquito net and a seating area, and a good hot shower. it is a guesthouse - do not expect hotel-type service, but Mr Tam and the two girls are willing to help if you ask. He no longer runs a restaurant but there are two - simple but good, with views over the river, a minute’s walk away. We’d’ve stayed longer if we could.

First of all this Guesthouse was surprisingly more affordable than anything I found in Don Det, even for an air conditioner room which I didn't need because the weather was cool at that time. The location of this Guesthouse is the best on the 4000 islands, almost midway between the 2 waterfalls, halfway between the old French bridge and the colonial quarters, the old train is also just a walking distance from there. They also have Lao Long Restaurant with a long local and intercontinental menu so didn't have to go anywhere for meals. Boat service, ticketing, etc are also available nearby. I enjoyed the beautiful sunset over the Mekong river from the area Infront of my bungalow room. All in all, the experience was great and I would stay there again

It was a pleasure to stay at their guesthouse, better than I expected for the price. We had less than 24 hours there, so we didn't experience much, but their hospitality was noticed.

This place is awesome, it's far away from the town but that makes it more special. From here you can go easily to the other island and the waterfalls. The owner is really nice, always taking care of the guest and she even gave a bracelet at the end of my staying :) The bungalows are spacious and clean and the wifi works really good

Quiet side of the island, short walk to the bridge and next island. Comfortable bed for sleeping and hammock for relaxing. Staff is helpful, restaurant was good, local neighbors can take you fishing!

We had a really lovely stay, the owner Hom and his wife are both lovely and so welcoming as well as their gorgeous children. Its a proper family run business and they were very happy to help us book any tours or travel we needed. The room was clean and comfy with an amazing view. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay especially for such a good price.
