We loved that it was an authentic Cambodian house in a village environment. What we loved the most though was just how amazing the service provided by Mr. Son Phen and all of his helpers. Most notably the two tuk tuk drivers Mr. Cheer and Mr. Lucky. They were so pleasant and helpful in taking us into town, to the temples and elsewhere. This made it so easy for our trip.

This place is a gem! Khemrak and Sreyleak have thought of everything to make these simple but comfortable rooms perfect. Quiet location, close to temples and an easy tuk-tuk ride to the city centre. We particularly loved the generous self- catering supplies for breakfast and the thoughtful homely touches. Location near Angkor Wat but a bit far from town. We did enjoyed our stay at Grand Venus!!! it was calm and peaceful. Pool was in the middle of the property and it was a relaxing spot. Room was clean and big. Mini buffet breakfast was good for us to be full. Staff were not only friendly but also incredibly helpful. If you’re looking for an oasis away from noise, I strongly recommend this little charming boutique. Will return!!!!

It is a well-maintained, quiet place to relax. The staff are friendly. The location is just a bit far from the city, but it is easy enough to get a ride to the town. Many mosquitoes are around the pool area; maybe the hotel can do something about it.

Fantastic place. We were so lucky to have chosen it. Great, helpful staff with a good knowledge of english. It was a quiet time, so we felt like the place was only ours. The pool is cosy and nice. They own one of the best restaurants in downtown Siep Ream ( Sokhak river lounge), so the food is also great. Hope to be back sometimes :)

Our experience of homestays has always been good on this trip but Mr Bun and his family and friends were just pure joy. We arrived a day early and he welcomed us with open arms. His daughters were a delight and their English is great. The homestay is on the edge of town but Mr Bun can arrange transport for you to anywhere either by car or by his friend, Champion, with a tuk tuk. We had bicycles so went everywhere on those. Breakfast and an evening meal is included in the cost and these were always joyous occasions starting with a beer and a game of uni with the kids followed by more beer, maybe some happy water and a delicious meal. . It’s a completely different experience than staying in the center of town in a hotel with a pool but one we much prefer. I can’t thank Mr Bun and his family enough for letting us into their lives for a short while. Free water, tea and coffee are on offer at the homestay too and fresh fruit for breakfast grown on their property.
