Perfect central location, beautiful decor. Breakfast was wonderful sitting on the veranda. The staff were lovely and so accomodating. I think we were actually the only people staying there. Kampot itself is lovely and we could have easily spent a few more days wandering about the quiet streets!

The Magic Sponge is the best hotel name I've come across, and the accommodation did indeed remedy us.
Thank you to our kind and attentive host William. We were very happy with the quality of our room, including comfortable bed, hot shower (we had to wait a few minutes for the hot water), air-conditioning and high finish.
We also enjoyed the delicious food, generous portions, relaxing in the bar and watching classic movies.

Monica is delightful and so friendly. Even taking us on an evening walk and explaining some local history. We enjoyed taking the kayak out too. Food here is excellent and we rented a motorbike that worked perfectly to explore a local waterfall and some caves. Would definitely recommend. Friendly cat visiting us each day too.
