Crusoe is not simply an accommodation, it's an experience itself. Spending few days in the careful hands of the family that runs this place has been one of the highlights of our trip to Cambodia. Koh Ta Kiev is a special place, where you'll have the chance to reconnect with nature by snorkeling on the barrier reef, hiking in the jungle, looking at the sunset and swimming in the plancton at night. However, it is even more special because at Crusoe they've created a little corner of paradise. The bungalows and tents are all located on the seaside and offer a great view. At its full capacity, it never hosts more than 20ish guests so you can really experience an intimate and relaxing atmosphere. We slept in the Bungalow deluxe and it was simply perfect! We want to underline the great hospitality that Pai and Mati reserved to us, as to all the guests. They are very special people, always smiling and taking care of you. Moreover, the cookers have golden hands. The food we tried here was the best we had in Cambodia: all the dishes were authentic and delicious. The real homemade food cooked with love and fresh ingredients (fresh fish everyday!). At the end of the stay, even if we stayed there only 3 days, we felt part of the family! The authentic and positive energy of this place is extraordinary.

We had a really amazing time on this island! Firstly, the boat trip to get to the island was very well arranged and very nice. They sent us a clear and detailed message and went out of their way to accommodate us when we let them know we might be late. Arriving at the beach of the resort was a real treat. It is so pretty! There is a deck and couches where you can drink cocktails and look at the gorgeous sunset over the ocean. The main restaurant/cabin is also very idyllic, giving a real island vibe with beach sand, hammocks, a fully stocked bar and a fully staffed kitchen. What really drew my attention though was the amount of board games and the list of other activities. There is also yoga and a workshop for making your own things, but we focused more on playing games and having adventures (e.g. snorkelling, hiking etc.). We stayed in a cabin, which was just perfect. In fact, everything in there was just perfect. The bed was huge and soft, with a mosquito net. We were one of the closest cabins to the beach and so had a really amazing view to wake up to every morning. There was a balcony with comfortable chairs where we could relax, admire the view and read a little bit. There was also a hammock close by outside the cabin. When we decided to go swimming one evening at Plankton Beach, we were also blown away by the phosphorescence in the water. The food on the island was ridiculously good with both Cambodian (Khmer) dishes as well as Western cuisine. Overall, we had a really amazing experience and would recommend it to anybody else wanting an island adventure.

I loved the architecture of the place. Wooden buildings with beautiful carvings. Old style tiling give the whole place a stopped-in-time vibe. Pontoons go through the mangrove up to the river where chairs and table wait for you. Great swimming pool. Staff provided us with pool towels on request. We were even granted earlier checkin without extra cost. The place is quiet because off the main road. Great breakfast and the lady owner is adorable.

The best hotel with the best manager and staff and immediate service from the staff. They will inform you about everything, arrange taxi tours and everything you need. Great breakfast with a wide variety of products. Very nice pool where the sun sees it all day. The hotel is in the center and within walking distance and you can walk all over the city. In the hotel and in the rooms there peace and quiet without noise. The room's bathroom and shower is always clean and easy to use. I highly recommend this hotel for your staying in SIHANOUKVILLE
