Sayomi was such a kind and generous host. The food she cooked was amazing (and plentiful) and we enjoyed staying in a traditional Japanese house. Sayomi also helped us to arrange the transport. We loved the massage chair.

It was just perfect. The living area is super cosy and full of games, tea, cafe or anything you need. The room was big and super comfortable. Toilet and shower was very nice and equipped with stuff to use. The kitchen is available to use and fully equipped. The owner is a lovely lady that even helped us to find a nice restaurant to have dinner. I will come back if I can one day

We were delighted with our stay at Hakata Plus. Super well located along the Shimanami Kaido, with adorable and generous owners. They will reserve restaurants for you for the evening to make everything easier. Everything is new in the room which has everything you need to recover from an exhausting day of cycling. The beach is about a 20 second walk away. I highly recommend!

Taka and Tonari were super helpful to explain everything about the guest house and they even called the fish restaurant nearby to make sure they could prepare a vegetarian dish for me. During the morning a very small earthquake occurred and Tonari immediately came over to see if anyone got scared. Everything was clean and neat. We also appreciated the house rules because even though all guests were staying in dorms/semi private room it was always quiet.

Junko and Yuji have been excellent hosts and made my stay super welcome! The property is spacious & clean, and I had the entire upstairs to myself that includes a bedroom, separate living room, and private bathroom. They are very friendly and made sure I'm comfortable and well accommodated, and the stay includes a free pick-up/drop off service from the ferry across Onomichi JR station. I would also highly recommend the optional breakfast which was delicious with local fresh bread. I would highly recommend this for visitors riding the Shimanami Kaido. For me, I took the train to Onomichi JR in the afternoon, stayed overnight here and then was fresh & ready for my ride first thing in the morning. I would love to do the Kaido again in the reverse direction and this would be a perfect spot for the endpoint and I would definitely stay here again.

Kazu is a very helpful host. I had not done any shopping,he kindly offered to drive me to the store,instead of cycling through the rain.He also speaks english very well,wich is not thet usual in Japan.The house has a beautiful view of the sea.
