Lovely traditional house - very warm and inviting. Yuki (?) was a fantastic host and went out of her way to make all guests welcome and informed. Even went out of her way to take us all for a tour of the fish market and breakfast in local market cafe at 5.30 am!

Interesting door function with locking mechanism.
Staff were very friendly and even drove us through to station so early in the morning - truly went beyond all expectations - she was such a lovely hard working lady - as were all the staff we met.

You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
Short walk from train station
The rooms were bigger than stated in description, or it has good feng shui, because we could open two suitcases in the corridor, it had deep space there for keeping it. In other APA hotels I was, rooms were smaller
Cheap washing machines with detergent
Very clean. Good service. Cosy public bath..they had private bath which needed reservations..
Meals were very good.....location is beautiful. In the middle of the mountains....
Arrived by car, so cannot say much about the location, but there is private, free parking and a grocery store is nearby.
The check-in and check-out were very easy. The bungalow is amazing. Great furniture, very clean, and includes a full kitchen. Washing machine and dryer are also available. The toilet plays classical music. The bed was the most comfortable bed that we slept in while in Japan. A bit pricey, but absolutely amazing. Wish we had stayed longer.
The hotel is ideally located close to shops and restaurants.
The check-in process was super easy and efficient, as was the front door opening by email link.
Room, bathroom, lobby all spotlessly clean.
All our correspondence was staff was positive. Although Tapstay does not offer parking, there are plenty of options close by. We parked overnight for ¥500.
Our room was lovely and spacious, with a good bathroom and facilities.
Lovely gesture made by the hotel to celebrate our honeymoon! Greatly appreciated 🙂
