Great location on foot from sand bath, onsen, restaurants, konbini. Nice and responsive host: clear instructions, restaurant recommendations and very kind. We were by car, there was parking reserved for one car. Recommend this place if you visit Ibusuki!

Very well preserved Showa era ryokan with very kind and pleasant staff. We could also borrow bikes to easiliy go around Ibusuki. There's even a private onsen!

This was a wonderful homestay experience.
We notified our hosts of our arrival time and he met us outside the shrine next door to the home. (Google directions will wrongly lead you to a neighbouring home.) The traditional Japanese room has a good size with lots of storage space for luggage and to spread out. The futon beds were very comfortable.
A sitting area outside our room was ours to use. Kitchen, bathroom and toilet which are all very modern were shared with our hosts who live in the back of the house.
We would stay here again if we came back to Ibusuki.

Not one thing I can complain about. The house is beautiful and situated closely to the train station. There is also an Onsen nearby which was really convenient. The manager Yuko was very friendly and has a lot of knowledge about the area. There are drinks and snacks in the kitchen which can be purchased for little money and save you the trip to the Konbini.
For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
It’s really cheap. We were in Ibusuki for just a night so this is really a good option. The house is also very clean with more than sufficient amenities.
Very convenient location. Its near big drugstore. Even u arrived late to ibusiki , for example 8pm, you can grab something to eat here.
They also got 3 bikes. It’s very handy to travel and discover other points of attraction by bike. Remember to pick the one with light
