We loved our stay here.
Staff was lovely and the surroundings and views are gorgeous...very peaceful.
We booked it thinking it was close to Wadi Ghaweir.
It turned out I had made a mistake as the camp is close to the entrance of Dana Reserve but our trail was quite far.
They helped us to find a driver who will take us there and gave us informations about the trail and we were also able to order 2 lunch boxes for the hike with lots of food and drinks and at a very reasonable price.
We loved this camp and will definitely come back again.

We had a very lovely stay at Wild Dana Eco lodge. We just arrived before sunset and were able to enjoy the view accompanied with tea offered by the host. On our first day we did the Wadi Ghuweir trail (canyon) with a very nice guide Isam. The trail was truly amazing. On day 2 we did the Shaq al reish trail (rocky road) in the morning. Both trails provide a different scenary.

Me and my husband recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hobbit Village in Dana Reserve, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, Yusuf, the owner, made us feel incredibly welcome with his warm hospitality. His excellent English made communication effortless and enjoyable.
Our experience was further enriched by our guide, Ahmad, who took us on an unforgettable journey through the reserve. He was not only informative but also a lot of fun to be around. Ahmad truly is the best guide in the area, sharing fascinating stories and insights that added depth to our adventure.
The accommodation itself was clean and fragrant, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploration. The food served was absolutely delightful, with flavors that left us wanting more.
Overall, our stay at Hobbit Village was an amazing experience filled with comfort, laughter, and adventure. If you’re looking for a unique stay in Jordan, this is the place to be!

My wife and I stayed here two different nights, once before the hike through Wadi Dana, and once after doing the Wadi Ghuwayr hike, starting from Feynan.
The location is very peaceful and rural, within a short walk in the evening of a beautiful sunset view. The highlights of staying here on the one hand were the interactions with Saif, the owner, who speaks excellent English, and is very knowledgable about the area. We were able to arrange our transportation from the usual starting point of Wadi Ghuwayr hike (our endpoint) through him, for a reasonable price.
The second highlight was the cooking; during our stays we had two breakfasts, two dinners and a packed lunch, all prepared by Saif's brother, and all were excellent!
We feel like we experienced a real piece of Jordan and local culture by staying here.
Parking was easy in our normal standard rental car.

We had a great experience! We received a great treatment from all the family members. Delicious food and breakfast! It was very exciting to be in a typical house in Dana located in the old village where the trails in the reserve start. Highly recommend it, we would love to come back.

Very quaint hotel in Dana Village, right at the start of the Wadi Dana trail. We booked the budget room but received a upgrade to one with a terrace. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The owner helped us arrange a private transfer to Madaba at a very low cost. Breakfast and dinner were delicious.
Great location perched on a ridge away from it all, 5 minute walk to sunset views. Friendly and welcoming staff constantly refilling your glass with tea. Excellent buffet dinner and breakfast served at reasonable prices. Very clean amenities, the shared shower and toilets are in a separate building. Outdoor area for relaxing and dining. Excellent place.
Our 2-night stay was wonderful at Dana's Trail Hotel!
Beautiful location and view, friendly and hospitable staff, very clean rooms, delicious breakfast and dinner, and the hike and guide were exceptional!
Highly recommended.
The location is wonderful. We did a hike in the surrounding area and it was easily followed and gave us some great views. The tent was spotless and the bedding was freshly provided. We really enjoyed the dinner and breakfast and the tea in the Bedouin tent was lovely. It's a very atmospheric place and the staff are wonderful. Good showers too - though cold!
Everything you could expect from a Hobbit Village. Very cozy and surprisingly comfortable. The Hobbit Village is very clean, even for European standards. Even during our visit in the winter the room was warm enough with a electric heather. We had good talks with the brother of the owner at the camp fire and the mother cooked delicious food! The road to the village can be hard to find but Google Maps shows the right location.
The location on high plateau is romantic with nice views. The staff was extremely helpful, gave us all the information we needed, organised guided trip to the valley next morning. Our guide was very friendly, gave us lot of information about the region and life in Jordan in general. We had breakfast and dinner, the food was amazing, local style, anyone could find something to take.
The cottage was simple, very clean, with gas oven, private bathroom with shower. We hope we can come back again!
Nice welcome from awesome staff. Excellent location with great views. We got a free room upgrade, which was perfect! Very clean. Free tea and water all day long. Obviously quiet and you can do great hikes from there. Food was amazing! Just a small tip: bring a towel because they don't provide them and a mosquito repellent just in case. Thank you Mohamed (welcome to Jordan, Yunan) !
