Enjoyed our stay in this well furnished, comfortable and clean B&B. It is on one of the main streets in the old town but our room was very quiet. The weather was against us but has a lovely view across the valley. Guiseppe our host was very friendly and helpful - also flexible with arrival and departure times. Troina clings to a hill, and certainly gives you a gentle workout as you wander about this beautiful town. B and B Al Borgo is right in the middle, with a newsagent, tobacconist, cafes, bars, mini super markets and restaurants all within a few minutes walk. Our check in was great - technologically the owner could let us in and give us directions to our room, despite us being early, and not present This was great! The house is historic, traditionally decorated, and laid out, with lots of interesting artefacts representing the agricultural and roman heritage of the town. The furniture is antique, with beautiful spotless bed linen. As well as a room and (external, but personal to us), bathroom, there was a lounge for guests, with fantastic coffee maker etc. the balcony was great. Our host was super, made sure we were comfortable, and gave us ideas about what to see and where to go.

We stayed in Nicosia for one night. The accommodation is great - perfect location, clean and has everything you may need. The guy who met us at the reception was very kind and keen to help. La Madonnina was a perfect choice for our short stay in town.

Great, clean room in a beautiful location. The dinner at the on-site restaurant was amazing, and we were lucky to arrive just as the Sunday lunch began—it was packed with locals! The staff is very hospitable, and there’s a swimming pool with a view of Mount Etna. When we return to Sicily, we’ll definitely visit again!

The location is quite, environment is exceptional. Dinner was amazing and products used were genuine and fresh every day. Family run business with the family being very nice with guests, friendly and professional.
The property was secluded and the area was very nice and large. This meant that you have to travel a bit to visit other places. We ate there twice, and the food was good but the selection was limited especially for the main course. The staff was very nice and helpful. We travelled with a baby, and they were very accommodating. The accommodation was very clean and well maintained. They had a bar service by the pool with extended hours, and the prices were reasonable.
