Best parking in European accommodation. Lovely property in a great little village not too far from tourist attractions. Very well organised, clean and comfortable. Wonderful breakfast including homemade cakes and tarts as well as fresh fruit, ham, cheese bread etc. and good coffee. Antoinetta is a great host. Excellent value for money. Friendly locals too.

Clean, spacious, quiet, beautiful location, well equiped kitchen/ appartement, large garden. House is very well build. On hot days it remains cool in the house. Its on the outskirts of Varese Ligure. Within a few minutes walking there is everything you need in the village. Restaurants, bakery, butcher, small supermarket which sells excellent local cheeses and some other shops and bars. Great location for hiking and cycling. And very kind owners that live in the house next door. Highly recommended.

The view from the room's window and the terrace is amazing - to the mountains and the entire valley. Firstly the place is a hidden gem amidst mountains. The host is super helpful and always available. He goes the extra miles to make your stay comfortable. He provided us with great breakfast every day, and his house had all the amenities, including the kitchen, more than expected. This was important for me as we were cooking and traveling with kids.
We everyday were visiting Cinque Terre and this place was just a 45-minute drive and the entire route was very scenic. This is a perfect option if you want to visit Cinque Terre and avoid the crowd, high stay prices, and parking.
Overall my family loved this place and I would highly recommend this place.

We loved everything about Il Giglio e la Rosa. The location is wonderful - it is peaciful and quiet, the surroundings are beautiful. The apartment itself is very conveniently arranged and fully furnished/equipped. It is spacious enough for 5 people, so visiting in a group of 3 gave us loads of room. The hosting family is super nice and helpful and the family dog is a star. We really liked the location, as it allowed us to visit both the Ligurian coast and the mountains. Hope to be back in Autumn!
