We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, newly built house. The location was perfect, and the spacious, clean rooms made for a very comfortable stay. The host was extremely responsive and always available to assist. We also really enjoyed the delicious breakfast offered each morning. After booking for nearly ten nights, I extended my stay for two more nights because of the beautiful experience. Thekkedy House offers everything needed for a comfortable and memorable stay. It’s a great blend of a homely atmosphere with a touch of professionalism, ensuring a relaxing and well-organized experience. The location is quiet yet conveniently away from the busy area of Kumily.
I also recommend the Riya Spice Shop nearby for those interested in getting some of Kerala's best spices. Their sister venture, Periyar Homes, is spacious and ideal for larger groups, featuring three bedrooms, a kitchen, and a living room that can accommodate at least eight people. The host, a kind and dedicated woman, ensured my stay was wonderful and I’m grateful for her care. I highly recommend Thekkady House to anyone looking to explore Thekkady with comfort and warmth!
