Wonderful location, on a par with Ashtamudi Villas also under the same ownership, but very different. This looked over the open lake, with an extensive lawn, whereas that was full of shady trees. Staff were excellent in both places, and produced excellent breakfasts.

Ocean view is the perfect sea - side stay. Samir took us in with open arms, picking us up form the station and showing us around Kollam, and taking us for dinner on our last night. Balla the care taker was extremely accommodating, helping us out and making us delicious chai. The rooftop and verrandah are huge bonus’s, looking out onto the ocean which is only a few feet away. Would definitely return!

The best place for a family vacation! Communication is key, and Mr. Murali addressed all our queries even before our visit. They arranged fishing, boating, and Ayurvedic massages for us, and we really enjoyed the homemade food. The property is located right by the backwater, surrounded by lots of trees on the other side, allowing us to fully enjoy nature. Kids will love it—my son spent all his time fishing with the kit Mr. Murali provided. He is the best host we've met in all our travels. We also can't forget the caretaker, Mary, who was always there to prepare whatever we needed!
