The location is excellent with beautiful tranquil views of the island and water from my room which was at the front of the building. Decor was suited to the area. Our host was very attentive. We enjoyed the little balcony sipping Prosecco in the evening after dinner. We would definitely stay here again.

A great property - it was clean and comfortable and welcoming, and well-equipped. John, the owner, was lovely and helpful. The house is in a good location, it’s quiet and peaceful but only a very short drive from town (you can even walk into town if you don’t want to take the car, but it’s about 45 minutes). Loads of lovely places to visit all within a short distance. Would definitely return!
The cottage is very comfortable and in the perfect location, just a short drive out of Sligo but you are in the quiet countryside. Every comfort has been thought of. The views of Benbulbin are amazing!
