It was a lovely spot - a rural area near a town - but it was also very handy to see areas around Dublin. There was a back road to Blessington and Glendalough. It was close to the M7/8. On the second evening I was driving back from Greystones and was able to avoid heavy traffic on the M50 system by shifting to the M11 and using that back road to get to the property. It was very comfortable room, nice facilities and excellent breakfasts. The owner was very nice.

Picturesque location. Friendly messages from hosts. Property was very clean and comfortable. All bedrooms en-suite. The kitchen wanted for nothing re appliances and equipment.

The house is very cosy and had nice details about it. The living room especially. The bedrooms all lovely and beds super comfortable. We really loved the back garden and sat outside in the morning to have our coffee. Also there was coffee, tea, butter, some fruit and chocolate bars left for us.I would also mention the great dvd and cd collection from 90's and early 2000's. Location is perfect as there are lots of beautiful places around to explore and great cafes/restaurants for food.
Location was perfect for us; just a two night stay, we were attending a family wedding in Dublin one hour away with the reception in Poulaphouca House 5 minutes away. House was well provisioned with everything you could possibly need for a stay; beds were comfy and, once we got the electric heating on, the rooms were cosy (just keep doors closed as this was march and there was no heat source for the hall and stairs). We weren't in the house long enough to enjoy the open fire.
We liked having three ensuite bathrooms. The location is slightly remote so we would have liked a pint of milk in the fridge on arrival. However, the personnel in the hotel were very helpful. The house was cold when we arrived but there was plenty of electric heating available at the property.
The location is fantastic, and the house is very comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay. There is lots to do in the area and plenty of nice places to eat.
The house is lovely decorated, very very clean/tidy, WiFi, small garden and the house has a fireplace, which was really nice. It has plenty of space for up to 5 people. There were also some fruits, water, tea and coffee for the first day. At the entrance was a stand with leaflets of attractions, restaurants and parks.
The location is perfect for visiting the national park near by. Parking is on street or at the parking lot near by.
Lisa was really kind and helpful. I tally can recommend to stay there.
